The primary and secondary of the open-loop Hall current sensor series are insulated and used for controlling and measuring DC, AC, and pulse currents.
The magnetic flux generated by the primary current gathers in the magnetic circuit and is detected by Hall elements at the air gap. The output voltage of the Hall element is processed and a standard voltage signal is output at the sensor output terminal, which accurately reflects the changes in the primary current.
